[Men, lands and vine]
In this land of "sun belt", an outpost of western Sicily and landing point of the Phoenicians and the Greeks, Romans and Arabs, Spanish and English, the cultures are mixed through time,
the men are crossed, cities and roads over-lapping;
landscapes expressing the richness and diversity of nature,
showing us the beautiful signs of this history.
There is, however, an invariable tract in the images of the entire province of Trapani and Marsala, a pattern that repeats itself
in time and space: the orderly succession of vine yards,
as endless lines that from the coast, penetrate into the hills
to create a dense web of this land.
A texture composed of men and powered by the sun, in an alliance between the ancient people and the nature: who are born in these lands has always known the geometry of the vine, recognizing colours and scents, almost instinctively approaches the "making of wine" as if it were innate and work indispensable of life...
